While the TMT provides services to Thane, Kalva and Mumbra, it has required the aid of the BEST to run services across Thane city. The BEST has proved to be a superior bus service and this has proved to be a problem for the TMT. Now, the BEST has introduced AC buses between Thane and Mumbai and now people want more routes.
The only way for the TMT to gets its act together is to merge with the BEST to improve its service.
